PillarCare have been helping people live as independently as possible in their own homes throughout London and the UK since 1999. We are an award winning service; our dedication to truly caring for each and every service user has been recognised by our own service users and industry professionals.

Our mission – person centred care

Knowing we are making a positive difference to people’s lives drives all of us here at PillarCare. We are committed to delivering the highest standards of care without losing a personal connection to those we care for. Helping people to remain in their homes, living their lives how they wish, informs both our Management and Carer teams and we hold the individual at the heart of what we do. Person Centred Care means that we work with each individual, encouraging full participation in delivering the right care for you.

And unlike some other companies, we stay in touch. Our friendly, experienced Care Managers and Staff Supervisors are always on call and are committed to ensuring that we are there for you when you need us. People’s lives change, and we are always flexible, working with you to respond quickly to changes in your circumstances. We are always happy to talk – we know sometimes things are clearer after speaking to someone with experience. We understand care, and you understand what you need.

    Robert Garnett

    Registered Manager

    Robert established PillarCare in 1999 to provide a safe, positive alternative to residential care and nursing homes. Robert manages the business side of PillarCare. Graduating in Sociology he has expert knowledge of the caring profession. He has over 30 years’ experience in employment and people management, the past 16 years working in the homecare sector. Robert is active in the local community, supporting older people's organisations and initiatives.

    Matt Ford

    Care Manager

    Matt joined PillarCare in 2018. He assists with the company's strategy and is responsible for ensuring that the care we deliver is safe, responsive and effective. He is also responsible for supporting the team on a daily basis to ensure they are able to deliver outstanding care. Matt has been working in social care for the last 5 years, focusing on adults with a variety of learning disabilities and complex health needs. He also has an excellent understanding and history of working with CQC; upholding the standards they expect in social care. Matt holds a degree is Psychology, a masters degree in Forensic Psychology and is working towards his diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care

    Oona Corke

    Community Care Manager

    Oona joined PillarCare in 2001. She focuses on visiting and monitoring the people we provide care for, ensuring that each is receiving the correct services and care at all times. She has a professional background in patient outreach projects and health communications and has worked on patient information projects for the NHS, University of Westminster and The Department of Health. Oona has post-graduate diploma in Human Ecology and Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.

    Chloé Cooper

    Carer Supervision Manager

    Chloé joined PillarCare in 2016. She spends much of her time visiting the Carers to ensure that each one is meeting our high standards and expectations, whilst feeling confident and comfortable in their placements. Chloé also works with the PillarCare policies and procedures keeping them and us up to date. She has 10 years’ experience in team management and business administration, and previously worked for the General Social Care Council, in governance for Social Care Workers.

    Charlotte Ward

    Human Resources Manager

    Charlotte joined PillarCare in 2018. She is the lead in the recruitment of new staff, ensuring that the team are fully compliant with the current care standards and managing new training. Charlotte ensures that the team understands HR policies and procedures. Charlotte has a great knowledge of the care quality system and graduated with a FDSC as an assistant practitioner. She has comprehensive experience of working in a clinical environment; having worked in an urgent care centre, care homes and with other care facilities.
