Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

MS is a condition that affects the central nervous system. The body starts to attack the nerve fibres, causing disruption to the body’s ability to communicate to the brain. MS affects people differently and people with the same type of MS may have different symptoms. Some of the difficulties associated with MS that can affect a person's life, could be with balance and dizziness, chronic fatigue, vision problems, bladder problems and stiffness and/or spasms. Depending on the symptoms, PillarCare is able to provide care, on a live-in and live-out basis. At the core of providing care for someone living with MS is the aim to facilitate as much independence as possible.
